The Entrepreneur Space is celebrating its third birthday party with the premiere of the Authentic Belgian Waffle at the 1964 World’s Fair in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. Taking part in this delicious event is MariePaule Vermersch, who came to Queens from Belgium to serve these famous waffles. Also, Queens Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Seth Bornstein and local elected officials will give speeches before they join Vermersch in serving whipped cream on waffles for guests.
