Oktoberfest events, and New York City locals and visitors are no different.
The annual German beer festival runs for 16 days from late September to the first weekend of October. So its almost over and you better hurry! Don't worry, most venues in NYC recognize the confusion of Oktoberfest starting in September and tend to run events through the month.
You can enjoy Oktoberfest at one of the slew of new beer halls and gardens that have opened over the past 5 years in New York but we personally prefer the more traditional locations such as Zum Schneider, Loreley, and the Bohemian Beer Garden in Queens.
While there will be many events taking place and German beer gardens to visit in NYC during the festival, why not get into the spirit by taking one of our beer tours this Oktoberfest? We have so much to offer that we can guarantee you will find a tour to suit your needs. Our first beer tour is our Brewed in Brooklyn Tour, which gives people a chance to explore the Brooklyn beer scene, learn all about the breweries in the area and the borough’s brewing legacy, while getting to try some beer along the way.
craft beer crawls, tour goers get the opportunity to become an expert on craft beer, learning all about how beer is made, how it should be served and where to find the best craft beer in New York. Finally, we encourage people to try our Brewery, Winery & Distillery tour, which also takes place in Brooklyn. On this tour, we visit Brooklyn Brewery, Brooklyn Winery and New York Distilling all in one afternoon. Learn all about these local, artisanal businesses and get to sip on some delicious drinks at the same time.
All of the above tours are available to reserve on our website. If you had no plans for this year’s Oktoberfest, now is the time to book one of our great beer tours, in celebration of the famous German festival!
