Local Wine, Beer & Brats, Wacky Wine/Cheese Pairings, + All You Can Eat Ice Cream
For the 11th year, Edible is celebrating the best of local, national, and international wine at this boozy event in Industry City. Some local wineries, like Red Hook and City Winery will be represented in addition to bites from some of Brooklyn's best food offerings.
Lower East Side German beer garden Loreley is hosting a five day beer and sausage festival. Twelve different sausages will be available, including a bacon wrapped cheddar bratwurst, along with drink specials at Happy Hour like $2 off draft beers and wines. What a way to welcome summer!!
Murray's Cheese is offering something different than your usual wine and cheese tasting this week. These six pairings are wildly different than your usual gouda and Cabernet. Expect wacky tastings like a funky cheese that tastes like salami and a rare wine made in Asia.
For three days, the largest all-you-can-eat ice cream event takes over Bryant Park. With the price of a ticket, you can sample ice cream and sorbet from both national ice cream brands and local shops like Coolhaus and Big Gay Ice Cream. Proceeds go to charities benefiting cancer care and research. We can't think of a better reason to indulge.
