Meet a Queens Expert, Imbibe to Help Animals, Modern Spanish Culinary Techniques, + A Lower East Side Cultural Food Festival
Our friend and fellow tour guide Joe DiStefano is making a stop at another local Queens library to sign his book 111 Places in Queens That You Must Not Miss. The book is full of incredible photos by Clay Williams. Both the author and photographer will be at Glen Oaks to promote the book and share some secret tips about Queens.
We can't think of a better reason to drink. At this fourth annual event hosted by the Catskill Animal Sanctuary, try some great cocktails, sponsor an animal, and enjoy a vegan meal. The event takes place at the trendy The Mezzanine and proceeds go to helping rescued farm animals.

This is a special opportunity to meet the chef and co-owner Joanh Miller, who will share his techniques on making pinxtos, serve octopus and conservas, and pour some delicious vermouth.
