Made fresh throughout the day (if you're at their Bedford-Stuyvesant location, chances are your donut was made within the hour), these donuts have the perfect consistency. They might look big, put picking one up you'll see how light (and fluffy) the inside is, surrounded by a satisfying crunch.
The donuts are made from scratch (using freshly grated nutmeg, among other fresh ingredients), and each flavor is carefully concocted and perfected. Their dulce de leech glaze is made from scratch (cooked for about 6hrs on the stove) and complimented with crunchy toasted almond slices on top. The hibiscus glaze uses dried hibiscus flowers which are made into a concentrate, and also used to decorate.
Don't live in Brooklyn? Don't worry, you can sink your teeth into one of these in the Flatiron District, or at our favorite Midtown eatery; City Kitchen.
