An upscale, delectable meal at a baseball stadium? No, you're not dreaming. Head over to Citi Field and visit well-known chef, David Chang's restaurant, Fuku.
This restaurant has the essence of Chang's infamous New York City restaurant, Momofuko, but has been tailored to the more casual, on-the-go feel one would expect at a baseball game.
Forgo the usual hot dog or cracker jacks and opt for bites that are bit more exciting. Fuku's spicy fried chicken sandwich is both crispy and juicy, as you slather it with their special barbecue sauce. It definitely has a kick, but not an overwhelming amount of heat, which will compliment most pallets. You can also indulge in their signature Momofuko Milk Bar compost cookies. Each cookie has a different combination of sweet and salty mix-ins including graham crackers, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, pretzels, potato chips and coffee grounds. This restaurant will be your new reason to take yourself out to the ball game.
You can visit Fuku at Citi Field by taking the 7 to the Mets/Willets Point station. Fuku is open whenever the Mets are playing at Citi Field. Click here for the complete baseball game schedule.
