Fermented NY Craft Beer Crawl

We are living amidst an amazing revolution in beer.  For decades beer selection was limited to light beer and lighter beer.  However, with over 1,700 breweries operating nationwide, choosing and appreciating beer has become a bit of an art form and has begun to rival wine is some of the finest restaurants in NYC. 

Join Urban Oyster to explore the wonderful world of craft beer as we visit several craft beer bars and a beer store, sample their wares, and hear about the stories behind their frothy businesses.  We'll learn about how the beer is made, what goes into serving it, how to distinguish between different varieties of beer, and how to fully appreciate beer the way professional tasters do.  This is a pub crawl with a purpose.  After taking this tour, you'll be able to dazzle your friends with your new expertise and liberate them from the grips of Bud Light and Stella. (Tour includes over 10 different beers as well as food to help absorb the alcohol and keep you on your feet)

** Fermented NY Crawl is offered in both Brooklyn and Manhattan.  Our Brooklyn crawl is on Saturday afternoons in Williamsburg.  Our Manhattan crawl is available in the East Village on Thursday afternoons.  Both are excellent beer neighborhoods with some of the best bars and stores in the city. **
Length of tour: Approx. 3 hours.

Age Requirement: 21 years of age and older.

Admission:  $65/person. Advance ticket purchase is required. Price of ticket includes all beer tastings (at least 10 different beers), food, beer tasting guide sheet, a tour map of the neighborhood, and your tour guide.
