May I go on the Brewed in Brooklyn tour if I am under 21 years of age?
No. Because the Brewed in Brooklyn tour includes visits to a bar and a brewery, we can not be responsible for individuals under the age of 21. Proper identification will be required and checked at both the bar and brewery. Although this tour is for individuals 21 years of age and older, we do have a wealth of experience in working with younger audiences and are hoping to offer other tours of this neighborhood down the road that are age appropriate for families with children. Currently we are also offering a tour of the Brooklyn Navy Yard which is a great experience for children and teens. Click here for more information about that tour and how to reserve tickets.
Are tours offered only in English?
For the time being, our tours are only offered in English but we do hope to offer tours in other languages in the future, so stay tuned! If you need a tour in Russian, please let us know as we may have near fluent Russian speakers available.
What does this tour offer for a tourist from out of town versus a native New Yorker? If you've never been to New York City, then this tour will provide you with an off-the-beaten path perspective and a chance to learn about the people and places that make our neighborhoods tick. If you're a native New Yorker, this tour will provide you with an in-depth look at one neighborhood and explore the history of beer through that neighborhood. If you love the city, enjoy history, and are looking for something fun and interactive to do with family, friends, or a date, then this is perfect!
May I bring my dog?
Sorry! We love dogs but since our Brewed in Brooklyn tour goes into establishments where food is being served, dogs are prohibited due to health department restrictions.
