DISH hosts 4-course feasts of readings and stories, as told by New York's hottest chefs, restauranteurs, mixologists, food authors, bloggers and critics. On Wednesday, March 5th, Housing Works Bookstore Café will host an exciting line-up of guests, for the book “The Way We Ate.” All proceeds from the event will benefit Housing Works' programs to assist men, women, and children living with or affected by homelessness and HIV/AIDS. Come to the Brooklyn Historical Society for a discussion led by Anne Hellman and Michel Arnaud, author and photographer of the new book Design Brooklyn: Renovation, Restoration, Innovation, Industry. The discussion will include top architects and designers and discuss the virtues and challenges of adaptive reuse. Sip on some of Brooklyn Brewery’s beers as you join in on the discussion.
