Celebrate Black History Month, Get Your Meat On, Celebrate NYC Beer Week, + Chinese New Year Parade
Celebrate Black History Month with Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams. The evening will be a celebration of African-American art, dance, and music. The fourth annual celebration will take place at Borough Hall. Dinner and beverages will also be available while supplies last.
Do you love cured meats? Paté, prosciutto, and sausages? Why choose? Come to this annual event where you can taste exemplary meat creations from some of the world's best chefs, including Queens BBQ master Josh Bowen of John Brown Smokehouse. Local beer from Fifth Hammer will be on hand to wash it all down.
Ring in another NYC Beer Week with the opening night bash. This is a great way to celebrate and cheers the growing local beer community. Sample beers from old favorites like Brooklyn Brewery and Other Half but also discover some of the newest producers like Wartega and Kills Boro. Get unlimited samples of over 60 breweries (including many of the nearly three dozen ones in NYC) and start the week right.
Say hello to the Year of the Dog at this annual Lunar New Year Celebration. The parade route heads through Chinatown from Mott Street up to Sara Delano Roosevelt Park. Expect traditional music, kid's events, dancing lions, and don't leave the area without eating plenty of dumplings - for good luck, of course.
